ICAMP operates on a flexible service model, ranging from a basic fee structure for use of our facility/equipment up to complete project management of multi-year applied research ventures. Our team of professionals has completed over 700+ projects for our industry clients, and will work with you to ensure that any project we undertake will meet the needs of your company.
Technical Services
ICAMP technical services are available weekdays during regular business hours, and evenings and weekends on special appointment. Our team provides services in-house at our facility with mobile services available for some capabilities. Technical services offered by ICAMP include:

Program Length: 15 days (2 weeks of in class learning + 1 week of in field hands on learning)
This course meets the National Occupation Standards
Credentials earned: Canadore College Certificate and a MiHR Certificate
Cost: $4,400 per seat + $500 materials
This course is an introduction into Diamond Drilling that will attain you Surface Diamond Driller common core certification 770200. This will give you the basic knowledge and understanding of the industry and the type of equipment used in the field. The student will receive basic understanding of procedures and how to utilize tools and equipment upon completion of this course. You will be able to enter the Diamond Drilling field with the basic understanding of the job and have an opportunity to secure employment with a company to put your newly acquired skills to work. This course will teach you the importance of knowing how to properly use and maintain the equipment on site that is used for everyday operation.
During this course you will be able to see first hand how this equipment works in the field. This will allow you learn how to operate these pieces of equipment and conduct thorough inspections. Not only will you see the different equipment, but you will be able to see the process of being helper and utilizing the tools of the trade which will be reviewed in the theory part of the program.
PPE will be required for every student taking this training. Failure to bring appropriate PPE will result in a incomplete as you will not be able to attend the field portion of the training.
- Steel Toe boots (6” high from ankle minimum)

Research and Development
ICAMP offers full service research and development capabilities, backed by our 13,300 sq. ft. laboratory and in-house shop infrastructure including full capability machining, welding, carpentry, composites fabrication and material testing facilities.
As part of Canadore College - a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council approved applied research organization – ICAMP draws on a deep network of manufacturing experts with experience in industries as varied as mining and mineral exploration, forestry, aerospace, transportation, sporting goods, recreational vehicles and household goods markets.
